Somos uma das poucas clínicas dentárias a possuir um scanner de tomografia computadorizada (CT dentário). Isso permite-nos evitar danos em nervos importantes na mandíbula e nos seios perinasais, e avaliar com precisão se o osso do paciente é adequado para receber implantes.

Por que substituir os dentes perdidos?

Para além de melhorar o sorriso, a mastigação e a fala, os implantes dentários previnem a perda óssea na mandíbula.
Durante a mastigação, os implantes transmitem forças ao osso maxilar, que reage aumentando a densidade óssea.
Os implantes são eficazes na prevenção da reabsorção óssea e na reconstrução do perfil facial, além de contribuírem para uma melhor digestão.

Consequências da perda dentária sem substituição:

  • Deslocamento de dentes adjacentes: os dentes vizinhos inclinam-se para o espaço vazio, causando retenção de alimentos e cáries

  • Dificuldade ao mastigar: pode levar a má digestão

  • Aparência facial comprometida e perda óssea: rosto mais envelhecido

  • Perda de suporte labial

  • Fala prejudicada, especialmente na ausência de dentes frontais

Sou um bom candidato para implantes?

Os implantes dentários são indicados para pessoas de todas as idades com boa saúde oral geral e que tenham perdido dentes devido a acidente, doença periodontal ou outras razões.
É essencial ter massa óssea suficiente para suportar o implante.

Algumas doenças crónicas, tabagismo excessivo ou abuso de álcool podem contraindicar o tratamento.
Após a avaliação do seu histórico médico, os nossos dentistas indicarão se há algo a considerar.

Nota: A idade não é um fator limitante.

Tenho osso suficiente?

É importante ter osso suficiente para suportar o implante.
Caso contrário, há formas seguras e eficazes de corrigir essa deficiência.

O nosso implantologista avaliará a necessidade de realizar um aumento ósseo ou elevação do seio maxilar.

Existem diferentes tipos de implantes?

Sim, há vários tipos.
Utilizamos principalmente implantes Cowellmedi, mas também oferecemos Nobel Biocare e Straumann.

Podemos fabricar coroas, pontes ou próteses sobre implantes (como próteses com sistema Locator) para diversos sistemas implantológicos.

Como é o procedimento de implante dentário?

O tratamento é feito em etapas:

  1. Colocação do implante

  2. Cicatrização da gengiva

  3. Abertura do local do implante

  4. Moldagem (impressão)

  5. Colocação de coroa, ponte ou sobredentadura

A integração óssea leva normalmente de 3 a 6 meses.
Se for necessário enxerto ósseo ou elevação de seio, o tempo pode ser maior.

Após a cicatrização, é necessário retornar por 5 a 15 dias para a colocação de coroas em porcelana ou zircónia.
Muitos pacientes dividem esta fase em duas partes, com uma pausa de 1 a 2 semanas.

Há dor ou desconforto?

Os implantes são colocados sob anestesia local simples.
A maioria dos pacientes refere que o desconforto foi muito menor do que esperavam.

Ficarei sem dentes durante o tratamento?

Durante a cicatrização, há várias opções de dentes temporários:

  • A maioria usa as suas próteses existentes

  • Alguns ficam sem temporários durante alguns meses sem problema

  • Outros optam por dentes temporários fixos ou removíveis

As próteses temporárias fixas são mais caras (pontes coladas).
As próteses removíveis temporárias podem ser feitas no nosso laboratório ou adaptadas a partir das existentes.

Quanto tempo dura o tratamento?

  • Para um único implante, o procedimento dura cerca de 15 minutos

  • Para vários implantes, são necessárias várias consultas ao longo de alguns dias

Quanto tempo duram os implantes?

Com bons cuidados e higiene oral, os implantes podem durar a vida toda.

Quanto custa um implante dentário?

Os nossos preços são 40% a 70% mais baixos do que no país de origem do paciente.

Keve Horváth joined our team of dental technicians. He works in the Ceramic Department as a master ceramist. After he graduated in 1994, he furthered his knowledge from several symposiums in Hungary, Germany and Belgium (for example Noritake and Ivoclar). In 2006 he held a course „Esthetic Front” with a real patient presence, which is a special event in Hungary and also in Europe.
