O enxerto ósseo é essencial quando não há volume ósseo suficiente para suportar implantes dentários. A perda dentária, traumas ou o envelhecimento podem causar reabsorção óssea, dificultando a colocação de implantes. Uma estrutura óssea adequada é vital para garantir o sucesso a longo prazo dos implantes dentários. Também conhecida como aumento do seio maxilar, esta técnica é utilizada quando a altura óssea na parte superior da mandíbula (maxila) é insuficiente, frequentemente devido ao aumento da cavidade sinusal.
Durante o procedimento, a membrana sinusal é elevada e o material de enxerto ósseo é inserido para espessar o osso entre o seio e a cavidade oral.
Sempre que possível, a colocação do implante é realizada em simultâneo com a elevação do seio.
Visa corrigir pequenas deficiências ósseas, geralmente ao redor do pescoço do implante.
Este procedimento aborda a largura óssea horizontal insuficiente, aumentando a estrutura óssea numa escala maior.

Keve Horváth joined our team of dental technicians. He works in the Ceramic Department as a master ceramist. After he graduated in 1994, he furthered his knowledge from several symposiums in Hungary, Germany and Belgium (for example Noritake and Ivoclar). In 2006 he held a course „Esthetic Front” with a real patient presence, which is a special event in Hungary and also in Europe.
