Orální chirurgie je samostatný obor zubního lékařství zaměřený na diagnostiku, léčbu a odstranění patologických stavů postihujících zuby, čelistní kosti a měkké tkáně ústní dutiny. Její rozsah přesahuje dutinu ústní a zahrnuje i oblasti jako temporomandibulární kloub (TMK), rty, slinné žlázy a regionální lymfatické uzliny. Často se prolíná s obory jako maxilofaciální chirurgie, chirurgie hlavy a krku nebo otorinolaryngologie (ORL). Blízce souvisejícími specializacemi jsou také parodontologie (ošetření dásní a okolních tkání) a implantologie (náhrada chybějících zubů implantáty, augmentace kosti nebo sinus lift).

Léčba začíná konzultací a diagnostickým vyšetřením. Provede se komplexní vstupní vyšetření, které může zahrnovat OPG (panoramatický rentgen) nebo CBCT (kuželový paprskový CT) pro detailní zobrazení oblasti.
Na základě těchto výsledků tým odborníků vytvoří individuální léčebný plán.
Zákrok se provádí v lokální anestezii, aby bylo zajištěno maximální pohodlí pacienta.
Délka zákroku a doba hojení závisí na jeho složitosti. Pacienti dostanou podrobné předoperační i pooperační pokyny pro co nejlepší hojení.

Keve Horváth joined our team of dental technicians. He works in the Ceramic Department as a master ceramist. After he graduated in 1994, he furthered his knowledge from several symposiums in Hungary, Germany and Belgium (for example Noritake and Ivoclar). In 2006 he held a course „Esthetic Front” with a real patient presence, which is a special event in Hungary and also in Europe.

János is Leader of the Ceramic Department where all Porcelain Fused to Metal Crowns, Full Porcelain Crowns, Veneers and Inlays are skillfully crafted. Furthermore, he is one of the few exclusive demonstrators in Europe of the German company Vita which produces the best quality dental porcelain in the world.
