My dental knowledge is based on my own personal experience. I have suffered from a wide variety of dental problems. These problems have had a devastating effect on my life. The high cost of dental treatment in Ireland was such that I could not afford to rectify the problems here. I consulted dental specialists in Northern Ireland but the prices quoted there were also out of my range.

I began to search the Internet hoping to find a miracle cure at a price I could afford. Well there were no miracle cures, but I did discover the Kreativ Dental Clinic in Budapest. When I went to Hungary for my dental treatment in 2002, dental tourism did not yet exist.  From 1996 the Kreativ dental team were already providing high quality dental treatment to many patients from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK and even from as far away as America. The experienced dentists at the Kreativ Dental Clinic were developing a reputation for high quality dental work around the world. I was one of the first 'guinea pigs' from Ireland to take the drastic step to have dental treatment abroad and I will admit that I was very anxious before I arrived at the Kreativ Dental Clinic in Budapest.  I would have described myself as a walking dental disaster. Kreativ Dental preferred to describe me as dentally challenging. With kindness and respect they restored my smile and my self esteem.

In the last 3 years a huge number of dental clinics from Hungary and other eastern European countries have begun advertising their services in Ireland and the UK. Dental tourism is now well established in Europe. The choice is baffling for anyone considering the huge step of having dental treatment abroad. I sympathise with anyone in this position as it is vital to choose the right clinic with experience and expertise in cosmetic dentistry, backed up with the latest technologies. I am very glad that I was not faced with such a confusing choice when I was deciding where to have my treatment as I might have made the wrong choice and missed out on a real gem.

The Kreativ Dental clinic can be credited with creating Dental Tourism in Europe. They are still the undisputed leaders in this very crowded field. The clinic is constantly investing in new dental technologies as they emerge.  I am proud to represent the Kreativ Dental Clinic in Ireland and I get great satisfaction from witnessing the life changing transformations the clinic has performed for many patients over the years.


Educated in University College Dublin with a B.A. degree in Mathematics and Economics and a H Dip in education, I worked as a teacher in Dublin before training as a computer programmer and eventually working as a freelance consultant for various blue chip companies in Ireland.
